Aris played a match at "Toumba" but unfortunately couldn't secure any points, losing 3-2 to PAOK. Both teams had their moments in the first half, but Aris had the better finish, with some penalty and red card calls (30'), chances (35', 37') and a goal by Kamara (45'). However, in the second half, they couldn't keep up the same performance and allowed PAOK to score two goals in six minutes (56', 62' penalty). Even though Aris equalized with Darida's goal (70'), they eventually conceded a third goal and left empty-handed. Aris' weak image in the second half cost them the game, and they needed to have claimed more opportunities. Their goal in tonight's match is to mathematically secure the 5th place and the ticket for the Conference League, although there is not much risk even if they don't succeed. On Sunday, they will face AEK at home and close the playoffs with a game against Panathinaikos away. Thus, they can become a regulator for the title. Aris will most likely secure the 5th place tonight in a ceremonial way.
