Daniel Michalski - Timofey Skatov

Skatov and Michalski both has solid season on their level. Michalski played great at Futures and is making his name on Challenger Tour as well. Skatov played great at challengers especially in the end of season and is hoping to step up.

Although he lost, Skatov played great tennis in first match here. Both of these prefer clay courts, but Skatov played much more on hard. Last year he won 3 Q rounds at AO as well. Michalski hasn't played a single match on hard in 2022.

Skatov shown his forehand is well adjusted to hard and his backhand is able to hold under pressure. Michalski shouldn't be there yet, so given experience and their level, Kazakh is expected to dominate through match and break down Polak.
