Italy – Serie A2, Round 12

ANTA CROCE-GROTTA
Santa Croce Grotta is a match that, in our opinion, will bring some surprises. The Tuscans, after a start resembling a horror movie, have sorted things out by making moves in the transfer market, and the new additions have integrated well. They've secured 9 points out of the last available 9 in the past 3 games, showing a spirit completely opposite to the beginning of the season. In their stronghold, they will host the seeded team Grotta, which still hasn't lost a game but comes to the match with some lineup problems. The diagonal is uncertain for the Marche team, and they could take the field without a crucial part of the starting six. Without certain news about the match, we belive SANTA CROCE WINS AT LEAST ONE SET or OVER TOTAL POINTS IN THE MATCH. *We reserve the right to adjust the analysis in case of last-minute news.
CASTELLANA-RAVENNA
Ravenna surprises and wins 4 out of the last 5 games, leading to a significant jump in the standings to the 4th position. Ravenna is undoubtedly in a period of great physical form, and coupled with the enthusiasm of being in 4th place, we see the guests as slightly favored. However, Castellana, despite being second to last, has accustomed us to intense matches where the Puglian boys rarely give up and always put everything they have on the field. It won't be an easy game, and we don't rule out that Castellana could win at least one set!
PINETO-CANTU
Pineto-Cantù is an extremely important relegation clash. The two teams, with only one point of difference, will take the field with the aim of winning a direct confrontation that could truly make a difference at the end of the season. Pineto took a set from the top team last Sunday and returns home after losing a heated derby with Ortona. For us, Paris and his teammates, after disappointing their home fans, will take the field with one goal only – to win and convince. Pineto is the favorite.
CUNEO-VOLLEY PRATA
A beautiful match unfolds in Cuneo, with crucial points in the direct clash between the second (Cuneo) and third (Prata) forces in the championship. Strong lineups, excellent gameplay, and both teams in good physical shape. We predict an intense match where both teams could win at least one set. However, we see the home team as slightly favored due to more experience in the sextet and the home-field advantage.
PORTO VIRO-SIENA
Another high-stakes match with crucial implications. Porto Viro hosts Siena in a key match for promotion, representing a turning point for both teams. Porto Viro and Siena have a fairly similar path, both facing a challenging moment. Siena suffered the third consecutive defeat last Sunday, and Porto Viro lost two of the last three. Only two points separate the two teams, with Porto Viro chasing and having the opportunity to catch a direct opponent. While we consider Siena's roster slightly more solid than that of the home team, we also know Porto Viro's small gym, the smallest in the entire group, which can be decisive for Sette and his teammates. However, the three consecutive defeats lean us towards Siena, which will take the field with the aim of not losing ground to the teams at the top. A challenging game, and in our opinion, Siena comes out on top.
