Italy - SuperLega, Round 4

Italy - SuperLega, Round 4

Trentino - Piacenza:

Match of the day for the fourth day of Superlega. Trento and Piacenza, respectively third and top of the group, will battle in a match that is shaping up to be crucial for the Scudetto. Both teams came home empty-handed after the Super Cup and are returning to full force in the league.

Both teams are of the highest level, and the match will be one of those real ones. Piacenza comes into the match with 3 wins from 3, as does Trento, which however played two tie-breaks that earned them third place.

Piacenza arrives slightly favored, but winning against Trento in their fortress is never easy for anyone.

Padova-Cisterna:

Padova-Cisterna is a complicated and important challenge for the second half of the table.

Padova is in the red zone, with Cisterna two steps higher.

Both teams win one game and lose two. Cisterna, in our opinion, has shown in the defeats a game in continuous growth and with prospects of improvement. Padova instead wins the tie-break the last match played in Taranto, after winning 0 sets in the first two games.

The home factor in a match against a direct competitor is often decisive in this sport and therefore if we have to side with one of the two teams, we risk doing so with Padova, which is at home, and comes from a beautiful victory away that has certainly done well to the mood of the Padovans.

Monza - Taranto:

Monza surprises with an excellent start to the season that earns the Milanese the second place in the group, second only to the renowned Piacenza.

3 wins in the last four matches, beating teams like Modena and Lube.

Taranto from the penultimate position of the classsifica, for us does not have the weapons to be able to bring home the match.

Milano - Lube:

This is a match that for us hides some pitfalls.

The Lube is superfavorite for all bookmakers but for us the game is not worth the candle.

Milano plays well, and finally complete, with Porro at the setter will be able to play without ifs and buts.

Perugia-Modena:

For us, in addition to a very favorite Perugia, we see a game with more then just 3 set.

Modena starts badly, convinces little, but with its roster, in matches like this rarely do not win even one set.

Saturnia-Verona:

Last match of the day, clash of low rank in Sicilian land. Verona wins 1 of the 4 matches played, even if with Modena, Trento, and Monza.

Saturnia, with one game less, wins one out of three and follows Verona in the standings in the lower step.

Key match with fundamental points at stake.

According to us the Veronese roster is superior to the home one, which however will be able to count on the push of the Palazzetto, on a game in crescendo and on a Verona that will certainly arrive more tired after crossing Italy.
