On 16/04/2023 Milan will host the reigning Italian champion team, Lube Civitanova. In the last part of the season Lube made a surprising improvement and the tactical move of placing Zaytsev as a “fake opposite” and Nikolov outside in reception in certain rotations, brought the results we all know: the recovery of the series against Verona in the quarterfinals and the first match against Milan in game 1 of the semifinals. Even Milan, with its feat against Perugia, managed to subdue the world champion club, but it did so while maintaining its discreet percentages in attack and block; more a demerit for Perugia than a merit for Milan. To date, the statistics speak clearly, and according to me the favorite is Lube of coach Blengini who in these last games, revolutionizing his game is expressing all his potential.
