A Reunion of Ex-Players

The "Tempio"  of Modena is a true fortress for the team, given the numerous successes it achieves in its home games, making the difference in almost all matches except against Perugia.

On Saturday, 03/03/2022, they will face a rapidly ascending team, Emma Villas Siena. Siena, lately, thanks to the great performances of Van Garderen and the current market sensation Bartman, are no longer the "passing team" they were at the beginning of the season, but rather a team that is eager and capable of deserving a place in the super league. They have improved in attack, blocking, receiving, and are completely different from their early season form.

I also remember that this match will have a special flavor due to the presence of athletes in Siena who have worn the Modena jersey, such as Bartman, Mazzone, Ricci and the injured Pinali.

This will be a definitely competitive match that will live up to my expectations with a victory for Modena, but not necessarily an easy victory for the Modena players, because they will see a Siena team that is totally different from the one they faced in the first half of the season. In my opinion, the current form of Van Garderen and Bartman will lead to a 4 or even 5 set match.
