Olympiacos B - Panachaiki
Greece - Super League 2, Group B, Round 29
Olympiacos had a break from competitive fixtures last weekend, allowing the team to take a breath and rest. They recently played a home match against AEK B', where they performed well but let the victory slip through their hands. Nevertheless, Olympiacos has managed to maintain an impressive unbeaten streak of nine matches, showing great form under the guidance of Ariel Ibagasa. Their last defeat at home was against Kifissia, where they suffered a 3-0 loss. However, in the following eight matches, they have managed to avoid defeat.
In their recent match against Union, Olympiacos took the lead in the 41st minute with a goal from Nikolic, but unfortunately conceded the equalizer in stoppage time. Their last home match of the season will be against Panachaiki, and they will be hosted in Chania for the season finale.
In terms of competition news, Ariel Ibagasa's approach and mission remain largely unchanged. Vlahomitros and Liatso are not considered as part of the team's plans, while Tselios makes his return after a long absence and will be available as an option for today's game. No other notable absences have been reported.
Olympiacos B concludes the championship as one of the most consistent teams in their group. Given Panachaiki's many problems, it is unlikely that they will be able to withstand Olympiacos' strength and secure a positive result from the match.
