Padova - Verona
SuperLega, round 19
Match one-sided
Verona is in the climax of the season and the Paduans will have a lot to fear on Sunday, February 12th.
Despite Padua being at home, I believe that the match will be one-sided. The strength in attack, at the net, and in serving is definitely superior to Coach Cuttini's team, which in this second round has only seen success against Taranto, winning 3-0. The remaining matches have been failures, especially due to the numerous decisive losses suffered for survival in the Super League.
The new arrangement with Keita as an opposite and Magalini as a post 4 seems to be Coach Radostin Stoycev's winning weapon with his Verona team continuing to grow match after match.
I think the match will present a clear victory for Verona with few possibilities for the Paduans, despite playing at home, both because the numbers speak clearly and because of the two different moments that both teams are going through where Padua remains stationary, unable to take that extra step needed for survival, and Verona which could be the real surprise of this championship.
