Siena - Civitanova rescheduled for the eighth day of the return
On February 25th, during the Coppa Italia Final 4, we will witness the rescheduled match for the eighth day of the return, where Siena will host Civitanova.
The two teams come from different moments; Emma Villas comes from a defeat in a direct clash against Taranto, taking home only one point, while Lube comes from a direct victory 3-2, being down two sets against Piacenza, reaching 32 points with one game less, having Verona and Piacenza at 31 points.
Siena, on the other hand, has all the interest in bringing home points for the salvation, given that they currently lie at the bottom, still with one game less.
Lube, accompanied by a bit of luck with Leal's injury, showed great maturity last weekend with a great Marlon Yant, a true leader of the team, and an excellent Chinenyeze, showing to be one of the strongest and most efficient Superlega centers, another fundamental help for Lube was the team's great "flexibility" that, thanks to the numerous substitutions, managed to fill the team's down moments, such as that of Zaytsev from the second line, with a Gabi Garcia always ready to contribute.
Unfortunately, Siena last week was unable to win an important direct clash, and their low efficiency and attack percentage paid a high price.
Siena at home is certainly a team that galvanizes and plays better, but I don't think they can win more than one set against Civitanova, who sees a glimmer of light after a fairly disappointing period.
