Trentino - Perugia
SuperLega, round 19
Will Coach Lorenzetti's team be able to interrupt Perugia's climb?
As we know, the PalaTrento is historically a true stronghold for the Trento, very few teams have had the honor of winning in Trento despite the superiority of their opponents.
But Perugia this year is a case in itself; the Perugians are facing a championship that is beyond normal, their standings and 31 consecutive wins speak for themselves (yes, 31!).
In Trento, we will see the former captain of Trento and also the captain of the Italian national team, Giannelli, who will find many of his national teammates on the other side of the net such as Lavia, Sbertoli, Micheletto.
The superiority of Perugia is clear, the statistics say it (superior in attack, serving, reception, etc. except for the block where Trento prevails).
Perugia's victory is not certain but probable, certainly the team captained by Matej Kazijski will not give up easily, so I am convinced that we will see 4 if not even 5 very competitive sets.
