Verona - Lube

Crucial match in terms of points and especially confidence. On Sunday, January 29th, 2022, we will witness one of the most interesting and crucial matches in the men's Superleague Volleyball. The match will see on one side a Lube coming from a dark period of the championship, now stationary at 26 points for four games. On the other side, we have Verona, the team of surprises, full of young promises such as Keita, Mozic and Sapozhkov, with not insignificant numbers, currently the second best team in attack (after Perugia with one more game), in terms of attack percentage and efficiency, and one of the strongest at block (Top 5) with the only drawback being reception. Taking into account: the numbers of attacks and blocks, the difficult Champions match of Lube this week (victory 3-2), Verona playing at home, and Lube's current crisis, I see Verona as the favorite today, despite the points in the standings, and playing against a Lube determined to redeem itself. It certainly won't be a 3-0 clean sweep, but I see sets like 3-1/3-2 for the home team.
