Verona - Lube

On March 22, we will attend the second playoff game day of the Superleague, with one of the matches featuring Verona hosting the reigning Italian champions Lube Civitanova. In the last match, Verona's young team managed to win with a crushing 3-0 against a Lube team that certainly fought hard but could not do anything against one of the most in-form teams of the moment. Despite the result, the scores were very close, proving that the match was anything but predictable. Statistically, Verona was favored in attack with 45%, while Lube prevailed in other fundamentals such as serve, block, and service. However, despite the statistics, Verona had percentages, especially in attack, below their capabilities, and still managed to conquer the Eurosole in Civitanova. Therefore, at home, I see an improvement in Verona's attacking abilities that could lead them to win Game 2 of the quarterfinals as well. Verona is a real war machine, and I don't think Lube can win against a team of true champions like Mozic, Keita, and Sapozhkov.
